Part 3 of our °o° Shanghai Disneyland Diary.
Long ago, in a land far far away, there lived a pair of twin princess. On one rainy afternoon, they decide to quest for an adventure, they walked and walked, until they arrive in a beautiful land where fairytales come to life. Princess and Vikings, fairies and pixie dust, honey pot and a willy nilly silly old bear!
"Is... this the place we are looking for, sister?" - the younger twin princess question.
"Yes younger one, Welcome to Fantasyland!"
Oh, ehem sorry *cough*, guess we are taking this too far. And to answer your question, yes, we are Princesses. Princess of this blog. Har-har-har. (•̀⌓•́)ノ)゚∀゚) Ok that's enough lame joke for today.

07. Belle Meet & Greet
We visit Enchanted Storybook Castle for the first time to check out the murals and whatever stuff there is, but it's packed with people, not picture-worthy at all. (Should’ve taken a picture of those people tho) We walk away and saw Cinderella, queued for her but it switches to Belle when it's our turn haha, it's okay :D
Super Pretty Level: ★★★ | Our Wait Time: appx. 30 mins

Lin wanted to ask Belle about her favourite book but Belle asked her first. LOOOL!! So, Lin who read NO BOOKS pulls a fast reply, "OMG! that's what I wanted to ask, what about you?"
Belle chuckled, “Oh me? Well, I can’t think of any right now.”hahahaha
Anyhow, Belle does mention her favorite books and they are all in French btw, Lin had nooooo idea what is she's talking about. Belle also said that Beast's favourite book is “Romeo and Juliet”. Okay...Let’s talk about Beast then. We had a little chat, took few shots with the Princess, and bid goodbye.
Belle is really sweet and really beautiful in person! She held our hands while we were talking to her and her smile is so charming!! A true princess indeed!(*’∀’人)♥

Walking around do whatever we see, we spot a guest service and got a pair of Peter Pan's Flight FP. (We wanted 7 dwarfs but the time is around 8pm)
08. TANGLED TREE TAVERN

It’s almost 2pm and we haven't eaten anything, thus we decided to have lunch at Tangled Tree Tavern! Because, Rapunzel!
Going in, it has the decoration from Snuggly Duckling. It was crowded and very wet, probably due to the rain and lack of seats (The seats are outdoor and open-air). Part of the floor have carpets on it and it got all squishy when you walk... kinda disgusting hahaha.
We picked a huge table, like a table for 6 because it's the only empty one left lmao. Our lunch for the day - We had Sichuan Chicken Chop, Fish and Chips, Mango Pudding. Our meal do comes with drinks but we pay extra and bought a Limited Edition Grand Opening Pepsi can.
Lin ordered Fish and Chip and we've never seen fish and chips in "nugget shaped" before. The fish tasted good, tho, the potato fries are a little salty for both dishes. Von ordered Chicken chop and it was served in a medium-size portion. We have quite a small appetite so the portion is a little to much for us. Anyhow, we still finishes everything, since there's a surprised after we finished the food - A Rapunzel sun!

We've met some locals while having our lunch. Like we said earlier, the table is for 6, so in the middle of our lunch, two grannies with their family (who apparently speak Korean) sat and talk to us. They didn't ask if the seats were taken, probably China's culture? Similar to Hong Kong, where they "just" have to share tables due to the limited space.
They asked where do we come from, how was the food and all sorts of questions, we all have a little talk. They were nice people and stated the merchandise are expensive. They also praised us Malaysian, "smart" because we could speak at least 3 languages! (thank you). Sometimes when we bumped into each other in the park, we will wave hi ヾ(。・ω・。) and they will wave and smile back.
So yea, this is basically what we encountered.
Overall,

Food: 8/10 | Service: 10/10 | Environment: 6/10(rain) ; 8/10 (without rain)

09. FANTASYLAND: FROZEN, PETER PAN & WINNIE THE POOH
Later, we watched Frozen: A Sing-A-long Celebration. The hall was very pretty and very chilly at the same time, a great place to kill the heat or avoid the rain in this summer weather.
Entertainment Level: ★★☆ | Our Wait Time: appx. 30 mins

A karaoke session for kids and the whole family with a little winter fun! As obvious as it may seem, Shanghai Disneyland is targeted for the mainland hence the show is conducted purely in Mandarin.
Frozen has turn into a global phenomenon, regardless what language it is, kids can't just "Let it Go". Even here in Shanghai, kids were singing and dancing to it, they will always enjoy the show whenever there’s Anna, Kristof, Olaf, and Elsa!
Say, seeing it as a foreigner point of view with no Mandarin knowledge, it was still a fun and entertaining show to watch, the CM was not CHINESE and they have to speak and sang the song in Mandarin, LIVE!! *Kudos to the cast members* If we have the chance, we would love to watch this in English one day.

The rain FINALLY STOP and we greeted with a ray of warm sunshine from Mr Sun!! We head over to our 2nd Fastpass ride of the day, PeterPan’s Flight. The ride and the queue were pretty empty, guess is not very popular in Shanghai.

Fun Level: ★☆☆ | Our Wait Time: appx. 5 mins (With FP)

We don't have a photo of the attraction, so here's one with captain hook!
Peter Pan’s Flight is another dark attraction where you sat on a flying ship out from Wendy’s window and off to Neverland! The ride itself was pretty fast, it ended before we could start digesting. Not the best but it was beautiful, not sure why but we tend to have a soft spot for Peter Pan.
Part reason why we rode Peter Pan was that, we didn’t manage to try the ride during our trip in Tokyo. We heard Tokyo’s one is better. We also meet Captain Hook after the ride!!

Since we still have plenty of time to spare, we walk all the way towards 100 Acre Woods to meet the snuggly, sweet and always hungry for Hunny, Winnie the Pooh ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ! (Happy 90thB’day Pooh!) There’re 2 Winnie The Pooh ride that we didn’t try, Hunny Pot Spin and The Many Adventure of Winnie the Pooh.
You can find similar ride or replica of "The Many Adventure of Winnie the Pooh" in TDL and HKDL. Just like PeterPan’s Flight, this is another dark attraction ride. We didn't ride SH's version so we couldn't compare this with HKDL. But, the Tokyo's version, which is called "Pooh's Hunny Hunt"completely Heffalumps blew our mind away, from the decoration to the ride itself, we hands-down crown Tokyo the BEST Winnie the Pooh ride! Sorry, Shanghai maybe next time.
Hunny Pot Spin is just a typical “spinning teacup” ride but the details were very beautiful!

We took a “Flitter Selfie” with Pooh!

We choose this Bee Flitter cause he was filled with Hunny :P
A cute way to spice up your average selfie!! It's fun!
10. MICKEY'S STORYBOOK EXPRESS PARADE
The clock strikes 4, time to catch the Disney Parade!!!! It’s funny that during our trip to Tokyo the crowd will queue 1 -2 hours early to have the best spot for the parade but here in SHDL, seems like no one really bother to queue… or maybe not yet. (¬‿¬ )Since it's 30 minutes early, we find a shade around the parade starting point and wait. In the meantime, the cast member starts drawing the crowd attention by standing along the walkway, they also alarmed the guest to walk from the side and not the center of the road as the parade is starting pretty soon.

Entertainment Level: ★★★ | Our Wait Time: appx. 30 mins

Like c’mon who don’t love parades? We love it and we have so much fun enjoying it to the fullest! To top it off, we were also really blessed to watch the parade in this BEAUTIFUL CLOUDY BLUE SKY! It made the parade look extra beautiful. There's nothing else we could ask for, we and our camera THANK YOU.
Seeing our favourite characters coming out and play is such a surreal feeling! Ain’t gonna lie we even got starstruck when we saw JUDYYYYY HOPPPPSS in the parade!
From ruffians and thugs to dancing fishes and Chinese warrior. Their costume was so pretty, the choreography during each segment was always so fun and interactive, the dancers and entertainer were smiling like every time! They even willing to pose for ya! The float was really beautiful and well detailed! Our favorites were definitely RAPUNZEL and MULAN!

Frankly speaking, we were quite disappointed seeing so little Mulan decoration/theme here in Shanghai, since she’s the princess/savior of China. However, we’re SUPER HYPED AND HAPPY that she was included in the Parade!!

Her float was AMAZING! THE BEST FLOAT in the whole parade!!! All we need now is a meet and greet with her! C'mon Shanghai please do a meet and greet for Mulan!
The parade ended, and the guest resume with their daily activities. And for us? TRON.
