16. ANOTHER DAY IN SHANGHAI DISNEYLAND
We’re a little bit late on the second day. We arrived at approx at 8am, but the queue was more crowded than the first day. So, one of us decided to skip the bag check and going in bag-free, then we met again at the clock tower.
Lin ran towards Tomorrowland for Tron's FP while Von heads towards Fantasyland.
The Fast Pass at Tomorrowland is close since it was too early. The cast member suggested us to queue for the ride instead of getting the FP, but people are starting to pile up at the Fast Pass booth, so they eventually opened it up.

At this hour of the day, Tomorrowland is pretty much empty with only a few teens queuing for the Tron ride. Meanwhile, at Fantasyland, Von bought some Oswald merch, then she decided to queue for Crystal Grotto which was also closed. So, she headed to the Enchanted Storybook Castle. We reunited and start to explore the castle together when it was still empty.
Starting at the ground level, or the "heart" of the castle, there's 4 beautiful mosaics of Disney Princess!! Grab a few shots, and we went to check out the Snow White’s attraction. *BUNNY REMINDER* ALERT THIS PLACE GONNA BE HELLA PACKED LATER IN THE AFTERNOON!!

Realize any hidden meaning behind this 4 mosaics? ヽ(°ε°)ノ
The Enchanted Storybook Castle is the largest castle of all Disney Parks, it was also the first castle that does not belong to any Princess but home to all Princess. And, the answer for the mosaics is Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.
17. SNOW WHITE'S ONCE UPON A TIME ADVENTURE

Snow White’s Once upon a time adventure is also part of the Enchanted Storybook Castle, which means our exploration hasn't ended yet! Since it was still early, we also had a great chat with the Cast Member! :D

Entertaining Level: ★☆☆ | Our Wait Time: appx. 5 mins
A room to room interactive walkthrough retelling the beloved tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In between the attraction, the guest has to walk along a winding staircase of Princesses. It was carved in descending order, so Snow White's craving was all the way up to the top, where you later set foot in her story. The cartoon came to live in their new 3D look, and it was fully conducted in Mandarin, no English subtitles anywhere.

#MORE OF ENCHANTED STORYBOOK CASTLE
Snow White isn't really our thang, we're keen to explore the castle as a whole, which is the reason it got us into the attraction in the first place. When everybody is going back down, we discovered an outdoor garden at the top level of the castle. There is also a stained glass where you could look straight down at the Gardens of Imagination. Macam very romantic sia.

Not to forget, meeting Disney Princesses outside of the Castle.
18. TRON AND SEVEN DWARF MINE TRAIN

This pic was taken this during the night.
Walked back down to Tomorrowland for our TRON fast passes ride. But before that, we made a quick stop by the guest service to grab another pair of Fast Pass for Seven Dwarf mine train.
Well if you have been reading our SHDL diary accordingly, you may have already read our review about TRON ride. If you have not, here's a short snippet from the old post.
[CLICK TO SHOW TEXT]

Thrill Level: ★★★ | Our Wait Time: appx. 10 mins (With FP)

With the Tron Fast Pass, we could skip the queue and go directly to the "headquarters" one cool thing here only at the Fast Pass lane was a futuristic glass wall that could turn to transparent!! *Sorry no photo or video of that*(・人・)

We also got to know that one of the last rows of the Tron cycle coaster has a seat version for guests who aren't comfortable leaning forward. The guest before us rode the Tron cycle with the sitting position, so we did not have the chance to ride it during our turn.
Second time on the Tron coaster felt as great as the first time, it was a little less thrilling since we knew how was the ride is already, which is a good too because that makes us fearless! Less fear more fun! Woohoo!! *raise hands up* Anyway, we also have our GoPro attached to our wrist, here are some additional Day 2 Tron photos/screenshots!

We got the last row twice!

Thrill Level: ★☆☆ | Our Wait Time: appx. 10 mins (With FP)
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, It's off to work we go *whistle* ヽ(o´∀`)ノ♪♬~ If you remember it well, this was sung by the 7 dwarfs on their way (and back from) work digging for diamonds. It was exactly what this cute family coaster is all about. Sitting in a minecart, it glides you around the dwarf's mining area with amazing scenery and a little twist and turns. Hoping not to reveal too many spoilers, there's a surprise before you return back to the station and also Snow White! A nice touch to end this ride.

We kinda like it, it has this splash mountain vibe, and the animatronics are amazing. Unfortunately, 7 dwarf mine train is not something we will be looking forward to riding if we ever came back to SHDL. We will only ride this with a fast pass, or if the queue is 15mins wait or less. But this attraction would be really nice for the family with kids.
Around this hour, we decided to complete our magic passport before it's too late. So whenever we saw a stamp booth we'll stop and get a stamp (sometimes it might take10 mins of your time! to queue or machine breakdown, etc.)
19. ROARING RAPIDS

We head to Adventure Isle, ate corn dogs and sipped on some drinks before depositing all of our items in the locker for Roaring Rapids. Lockers are provided, and it's free for 3 hours, but you can bring along your bag and put it on your lap if you wish to do so.
Queuing takes 90 mins (the longest queue time we had in SHDL), and the weather is killllllllinngggg. We're sweating like pigs directly under the scorching sun half of the time. Then we went under the shades, dealing with queue cutters and misbehaving kids :\ What also surprising to us was a non-cast member selling ponchos in the queue line. Like, did anyone notice these men or it is really common here?

Curiosity Level: ★★☆ | Our Wait Time: appx. 90 mins

Aboard an 8-passenger raft and drift down the rivers of the Roaring Mountain. Pass through canyon-like places and rush into the gloomy caves, meeting Q'araq the legendary creature who lives within. While you enjoy the beautiful scenery (you may even see the Castle), thus be prepared for some "splashy falls" *ehehe*

[REVIEW BELOW CONTAINS SPOILERS]
As to be expected on a river rapids raft-attraction-ride, most people including us was anticipated for a big mega splash and hoping to end up soaking wet! But in fact, we are 80% dry, except for YeeVon's wet squishy socks. LOL!
It was a lil' letdown, but perhaps they are aiming for a family-friendlier ride? So it's better not to traumatize the kids. Another good explanation which we kinda agree on was - Quoting from one of the mainland guests in our raft, she said this is a "心理挑战游戏" which means a mental strength/phycology challenge ride! That's why even without any splashy ending, the ride was still thrilling! *laughs*
Raincoat/poncho is available to purchase outside the ride and inside the queue for 10 yuan, but we think it is not necessary, It is advised to wear a poncho but not a must. However, it is hard to resist when everyone else is doing it xD (again, "mental strength")

The exit leads you back to the locker, the 2 kids who sat with us came to us and asked whether we're Japanese. LMAO, we told them we aren't, and they go off without saying a word. Yoooo! Does Japanese get special service or what? Should've just prank them. HAHAHHAA.。゚( ゚^∀^゚)゚。
