Part 8 and the final part of our °o° Shanghai Disneyland Diary.
The day is about to end in Shanghai Disneyland since we've done almost everything in our to-do-list, we spend our last moment loitering around the park, taking photos of the scenery and makes as many beautiful memories as we can before we leave this magical place. Enjoy every event that happens.
Before we proceed, we would like to say thank you for reading our travelogue to the end. We also like to apologize that the post has been delayed and we ended up using a year plus to finish everything. Har-har...*90degreebows* The writing was done in July 2016 but the photos took us months/years to finish. Our hands were full with our day jobs hence our updates have been very slow...But we never give up, yet, still makes time to edit the photos. Finally, it's done now. Yay!

24. QUICK TRIP TO FANTASYLAND
Before we visit Tomorrowland, we actually went to Mickey Avenue briefly and we bumped into Duffy (again) and witness a "special" Janitor drawing Mickey on the floor. We slowly wonder the streets of Mickey Avenue, after all, there are so many details here that we never notice while we were in a rush.

Seeing that we have a lot of spare time, we went back to the castle and took our solo shots since we too never actually had the time to took one yet. *girlssscoughgirllls* Besides, the castle area was pretty empty (i predict it was still the opening month right now hence thats why) we wouldn't want to waste this perfect photobomb-fee-opportunity haha!

Yas for photobomb-free photo!
Just like that, the sun is down, and few more stamps to go before the final stamp to complete our Magical Passport. Both of our last stamps are located in Fantasyland, we have a quick trip there and rode Voyage to the Crystal Grotto.

Entertainment Level: ★★☆ | Our Wait Time: appx. 10 mins

A gentle boat ride that takes you past sculpture gardens of Disney's classic films; and later on, sail its way to the beautiful, crystal grotto. What happens in the grotto stays in the grotto, the walls of the cave comes alive, is like entering a realm of magic. Other than the lovely statues and music, this is also the first boat ride that will go underneath the castle.
Our evening ride comes with a sunset view and shorter queue time. Come to think of it, a night trip here will be beautiful and romantic. *flashback Little Mermaid, Kiss the girl scene* Another friendly family attraction that is great to go.

so pwreettyyy~
25. TOMORROWLAND NIGHTLIFE
Speaking of the night, Tomorrowland is a MUST-TO-VISIT when the sun is down, the lights were up and you'll see cities of lights, where Tron glows and the light dances!
Entertainment Level: ★★★ | Our Wait Time: 0 mins

On our way down to Tomorrowland, we could hear loud music being played as if there's a party going on. With our surprised, it was Club Destin-E!! People from all nations are dancing, DJ mixing music, everyone is free to move and groove especially the kids, THEY LOVE IT!!
The performers are very kind and supportive when they spot you (a.k.a us) jamming. They will invite you to the dance floor to dance along with them; don't worry they will guide you very well. The dance steps are not that complicated, but not easy to learn either HAHAHA, It looks easy, but when we try it for our self, we look like a huge mess! The worse part, everyone was looking at you and always on their phone, recording, oh-so-embarassinggggg!

Left : Dancers dancing on the dance floor
Right : Park Guest (or really? xD) dancing with the dancers
Have you heard of the quote, "the best memories come from bad ideas"? That's what happens in Club Destin-E...accepting the invitation to dance with professionals was a terrible idea, but it leaves us with so much laughter and memories. Which I can't deny, one of the best moments we had in Shanghai Disneyland. HAHAHA. Our inner partying soul got turned on.
Afterwards, we took some time wandering around to appreciate the night of Tomorrowland. Here is some photo of how amazing Tron (along with its architecture) and Tomorrowland during the night.

26. IGNITE THE DREAM FIREWORKS // DAY 2 VIEW
About 7:30pm we went to Garden of imagination to wait for the fireworks again. We wanted to sit in front of the castle because a CM told us about it. Unexpectedly, the area was blocked and closed by another CM (a very fierce one). No means no to her and once u came out from the area you couldn't go in anymore. The reason was the front area was already full despite being an hour early so that's a bunny tip for you!Oh well, kinda disappointed at first, but is okay! Luckily there is still some empty spot in the Garden of Imagination and we had a pretty decent view too!

Entertain Level: ★★★ | Our Wait Time: appx. 1 hour
The view
Viewing up close is different than viewing behind the lake. Firstly, the projection is much much clearer and we could also see the water show better. The music and effects were also louder, it helps to give us a pretty lasting impression! Feels straight to our heart!
*// UPDATE NOV 2017 : Now guest have to be SEATED to watch the firework show from Garden of Imagination //*
The close-up feels.
In our personal opinion, the view in front was better than yesterday. Watching from the back was beautiful but we love to see the little details in the projection, it made the fireworks show feels "complete". Details such as the transitions, how the story interacts with the fireworks, along with the water display, and animation. Everything can be seen clearly here. Yeap bonus point for that.
The fireworks
Since it was nearer to the castle, you gotta use a little of neck muscles to look up *laughs* but you will be amazed at the fireworks so much until it's not even a problem.
In terms of photos, we prefer how the lake helps at giving us a better shot of the fireworks. I bet the photos will be way better if we could stand at the most front of the castle. Since we were in-between, photography wise... was pretty meh. Oh well, that's just our personal preferences, check out the video below and you be the judge. [* Click here to view Day 1 Fireworks *]
Day 2, we decided not to took any photos of the fireworks cause we wanted to watch the show with our own eye and not from the camera lens. For that reason, we do not have many photos of Day 2 Firework's view. We did record minor parts of the show tho, hence here's first 5 mins of the show~!
27. GOODBYE
Once the firework ends, we dash to the Whistle Stop Shop to get the final passport stamp, CM congratulate us, and we received badges for completing it. We later withdraw our bags from the Locker Rental and say goodbye to Shanghai Disneyland with....a....heavy....heart......(ಥ﹏ಥ)We are in a hurry because we have to arrive at the airport at 11pm. (Budget-people-problem)
At Disney town, we did a quick visit to the World of Disney Store to buy merchandise for the last time. It was a massive store, but we have such little time :( Then, we rushed to the shuttle bus station and return to Toy Story Hotel.

At Toy Story Hotel, we retrieved our luggage and told bell boys we need a cab to the airport. They were really nice and friendly, helping us with our luggage, calling for our ride and re-fill our water bottle! And....it's time, we thanked them and leave Shanghai Disney Resort to Pudong International Airport (Cab fare: RMB 120 by meter )
We flew back from Shanghai to Malaysia at 1:00am, and arrive safely in Malaysia around 7am the next day. We had the time of our life in Shanghai, created much wonderful good, bad, funny and lovely memories of this magical place! It was so hard to say goodbye to Shanghai Disneyland, but we know this wouldn't be the last.

Goodbye Shanghai.....(ಥ﹏ಥ)
Till Then,
