TaeYang Rise Ticket Journey

You came to school, unprepared, half awake and then bam a random pop quiz. Ya, this is how TaeYang Rise in Malaysia ticket launch happened.

IME Malaysia released a notice stating they will be selling the tickets on 7th of December (Sunday), exactly 2 days after they announced it. *SURRRPRISSED* 
THAT’S WHY YOU ALWAYS NEED BACKUP CASH FOR KPOP or only in Malaysia because last minute notice is seriously common here. Aint playin with ya.


Well with a sudden notice came up, we have to sacrificed and change our Saturday schedule to O.A.P.M.F.T.T.D (Overnight at Paradigm mall for Taeyang tickets day). We actually had plans on Saturday, so we just tumpang over to Paradigm for one night.
Since we was really afraid that we couldn’t bought nice seats for Taeyang as you know Big Bang was much popular in Malaysia compared to 2ne1 *sorry* and VIPs are lining up on Friday already.

We arrived at Paradigm Mall about 5pm, and we are number 28! My friend Mira was number 20 who came on Friday. Hey, that wasn’t so bad We are just 8 peeps behind.


Met some new VIP friends!
They are Twins and tsum tsum addict as well omg !!

Say Hi!! A and C ( not sure which is which but yea)
Paradigm mall is a great place for a camp out.
(This sounded so wrong haha)

Why? 



#1 The ticket stage was next to Starbucks,
which means free wifi



#2 The view 


#3 Come on, plug socket anyone? 


#4 Live band for entertainment 


#5 IT'S A MALL! You can shop and eat conveniently



#6 For overnighters, a toilet is open 24 hours.
To pee and...bathe?
(the toilet might be open for overnighters, heard they bath too, but we didn't do that)

#7  4-5 security patrolling the area,  head counts every hours

(again, not sure if is only for that day)


#8 Comfortable Seats and Couches* 
This is a really bad example lmao. 
There's a restaurant with outdoor seating that is closed during the night.  Many tired fans actually rest on their couches.

NOTE!! Something to consider, mosquitoes are everywhere since it was outdoor. Do bring a repellent and a blanket if you ever plan to spend the night at Paradigm Mall /anywhere *young fans please don't do this* (somehow we're setting a bad example D:)


The next day,
Finally the sun had rise, after brushing our teeth and had breakfast, we started to see more fans coming and people starting to pile up. Security re-arranged the queue, making new lines for us to line up. At the mean time, Ticketcharge and IME staff came set up the tables and PC.



Then they brought out their BIG STEREOO jamming TAEYANG songs.Totally liven up the crowd!!


Went up to the stage to purchase our ticket.
We were both excited and worried! because the front row seats are always reserved for sponsors. Let's hope that we do not encounter the same issue again T__T

Our turn next, annnnnnnd we're right, our seat was reserved !!! We fought for our rights this time unlike 2ne1 where we kena cheated!! But no matter what we just couldn’t get the seats we desire. There is even a ticketcharge passerbyer asking us to hurry up. Bummer

Our target is to get the first row of UL4/UR4, but the sponsors had taken over half of the row of UL4 and UR4 thus we ended up buying UL5. At least we had our tickets *yippie whoo* *bitter smile*.



Oh well, this is another tough journey for us.
Will I overnight of tickets again? I could not even answer that. But I hope its paradigm mall again. *TEE HEE* we shall see in the future!
